Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked with more than 180 families — each with their own story about caring for a loved one. This is mine.

When my incredible mom was diagnosed with lung cancer, our family was fortunate to afford 24/7 home care. But despite hiring multiple private and/or professional agencies, we often found caregivers inattentive. One night, I overheard a caregiver refuse to assist my bedridden mother. That moment changed everything.

I ended up stepping away from a new business I was building to care for her myself. During this time, I met Jane Edwards — a remarkable woman in her 70s who believed in small, community-based care homes. After experiencing Jane's impact on mom and the families of many others, I made it my mission to continue her vision.
